Headland gearing up for farmers’ market opening

Sept. 26 is scheduled as the first Saturday for Headland’s new farmers’ market. It will open each Saturday through Nov. 28.

The farmers’ market will operate from 8 a.m. to noon on the square along Park Street. The only exception will be Harvest Day. The location for that day is tentatively set for the parking lot behind City Hall. The market will provide one white tent and one table for each vendor. Opening day will include a 5K run and fun run, as well as live music.
